Delivery Information
The Meeting of Architectural Strength and Concrete Texture: Cemento Graphite 20mm
Specially produced for challenging conditions where traditional tiles fall short—such as heavy loads, harsh weather, and intense pedestrian traffic—the Cemento Graphite 20mm Porcelain Ceramic combines high engineering standards with the simple, modern aesthetic of raw concrete. Offered in 60x60 cm and 60x120 cm size options, this series allows you to achieve both a holistic architectural line in open spaces and a floor that retains its original form for decades, thanks to its deep anthracite color transitions and timeless texture.
Extra 20 mm Body Thickness and Superior Durability
Featuring a 20 mm monolithic porcelain body that is twice as thick as traditional 9-10 mm standard ceramics, it exhibits extraordinary resistance to point impacts and high pressure. It can be safely preferred in all types of demanding areas, from parking entrances with vehicle traffic to terraces where heavy garden furniture is positioned, without the risk of breaking, cracking, or bending. The product's high mechanical strength offers a load-bearing capacity far beyond standard coating materials.
Technical Performance and Standards
The Cemento Graphite series is manufactured in full compliance with international ceramic standards (TS EN 14411 / ISO 13006 Group BIa). Its resistance to harsh climatic conditions and chemical factors is supported by concrete test data:
- Low Water Absorption (E ≤ 0.5%): Thanks to the high pressing power and low-porosity structure of the porcelain body, the water absorption rate is almost zero. This feature prevents water from penetrating the tile and causing internal deterioration.
- Frost and Thermal Shock Resistance (ISO 10545-12): Due to its low water absorption rate, there is no risk of cracking or bursting on the surface during freeze-thaw cycles in extreme sub-zero temperatures. It provides full protection against sudden temperature changes.
- R11 Slip Resistance Class (Anti-Slip / DIN 51130): The special matte and slightly textured surface provides high grip even on wet floors. It minimizes the risk of slipping around pool edges, open terraces, and walkways exposed to rain.
- Abrasion and Scratch Resistance (PEI IV / V): In commercial areas with heavy pedestrian circulation, or even in outdoor cafe and restaurant spaces, the surface does not dull or scratch, maintaining its original aesthetic.
- Stain and Chemical Resistance (ISO 10545-13/14): It is fully resistant to acids, alkalis, pool chlorine, and salt water. Substances such as oil, coffee, or mud spilled on the surface can be easily cleaned without leaving stains.
Versatile Installation Methods
One of the greatest advantages offered by 20 mm porcelain ceramics is flexible installation options. Cemento Graphite can be easily applied with different flooring techniques without being dependent on traditional adhesive mortars:
- Raised Floor (Pedestal) System: It is laid directly onto adjustable plastic pedestals without mortar. It provides an excellent infrastructure for water drainage and hiding cables and plumbing pipes under the floor. Tiles can be removed when necessary to access the underlying infrastructure.
- Direct Dry Laying on Grass and Sand: It can be laid directly on grass, sand, or crushed gravel in garden areas or beach facilities without using any adhesive. It is ideal for creating walkways and stepping stones.
- Traditional Mortar Bonding: It can be applied on concrete sub-surfaces using high-performance flexible adhesives in areas under extreme load, such as garage entrances and parking lots open to vehicle traffic.
Areas of Use
Thanks to its wide size variations (60x60 cm and 60x120 cm) and rectified (straight-cut for a seamless look) edge structure, it offers a continuous grout aesthetic in large areas. Main areas of use:
- Balconies, terraces, and roof gardens
- Garden walkways, verandas, and courtyards
- Pool surroundings, sunbathing areas, and wet floors
- Parking lots, garage entrances, and driveways
- Outdoor areas of cafes, restaurants, hotels, and commercial businesses
- Public parks and plaza floors

Cleaning and Maintenance Tips
Cemento Graphite 20mm ceramics require minimal maintenance due to their non-porous structure. For daily cleaning, only water and neutral detergents are sufficient. They do not require heavy chemical cleaners or protective wax/impregnation applications. The stain-resistant layer on the surface allows dust and mud accumulated in open areas to be washed away effortlessly with pressurized water.
